Mr Karoo has been absolutely fantastic start to finish. I really can't thank him enough. I arranged a Consultation with Mr Karoo to discuss breast augmentation at the Cardiff Clinic, having researched who was the best for some time. Prior to the consultation I was quite nervous as I have always been quite self conscious and this procedure is something I have considered for many years. However, I instantly felt at ease when I met with Mr. Karoo and never once felt uncomfortable. Mr Karoo was always so friendly and professional. Over the following months I met with Mr Karoo several times before finally having my operation in October 2019......and the results are absolutely amazing!! Mr Karoo visited me after my surgery, the following day in hospital as well me attending Cardiff Clinic several times for follow-up appointments - the after care has been brilliant. Mr Karoo also offered the opportunity to telephone or arrange another consultation if there is anything I wanted to query or discuss in the future - although I'm sure that won't be necessary as the results are amazing and my recovery was so quick. I have so much more confidence now all thanks to Mr Karoo. I have many friends who have also had this procedure with other surgeons and they have all agreed that my result is by far the best!! Mr Karoo offered me lots of advice and I trusted him 100%. My advice to anyone considering breast augmentation or indeed any other cosmetic surgery/procedures is to choose Mr Karoo. I cannot rate the surgical skills, professionalism and artistry of Mr Karoo highly enough. Mr Karoo recently performed an upper lid Blepharoplasty upon me and thanks to his meticulous attention to detail and incredible microsurgical proficiency, I now have beautiful eyelids for the first time in my life. I look more awake and refreshed without looking surprised and ‘plastic’. I am beyond delighted with not only the surgical results, but with the package of care I received from Mr Karoo and The Cardiff Clinic Staff. Everyone I met and corresponded with were efficient and very pleasant. From the initial consultation Mr Karoo put myself and my husband (a Nurse and a Doctor) completely at ease. He was kind, courteous and extremely thorough in explaining the procedure, potential complications and realistic outcome expectations. The procedure was done under local anaesthetic, which although uncomfortable was less painful than a dental anaesthetic. Once the local took effect I felt no pain at all during the operation, which took less than an hour. Mr Karoo was quietly reassuring throughout, explaining just enough about what he was doing to keep me at ease. As soon as I sat up after the blepharoplasty I was given a mirror and I could immediately see an incredible difference. I had eye lids. I was delighted, and remain so. I was allowed home after 2 to 3 hours but found it reassuring to know Mr Karoo is contactable 24/7. I was given good after care advice, which I followed and other than the expected bruising, by Day 8, when Mr Karoo removed the sutures I looked remarkably fine and had no discomfort at all. His meticulous suturing has left me with a barely noticeable scar in the crease of my eye lids and I am not even 2 weeks post procedure as yet. I am so pleased that my research into Blepharoplasty surgery led me to Mr Karoo and The Cardiff Clinic. I doubt that you could find a more reasonably priced Plastic Surgeon of such skill, and I am absolutely certain you will not find a more truthful, caring, considerate and talented professional as Mr Karoo. I would, and will trust him implicitly with any and all surgical and non surgical procedures in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending him. I have been consulting with Richard Karoo for the last seven years and have had a number of surgical and non-surgical procedures. I don't mind the extra expense to my budget, as the pay back in confidence and emotional well-being as a woman looking to move into her sixties is always worth every penny. So glad I found him, my sister is too!
